Why Marijuana? ... part II

I received a comment to the first Why Marijuana? blog that read like the FAQ from the PDFA, so I thought it necessary and relevant to share my responses (when I use "you", I am not speaking to any person specifically but to anyone and everyone reading this) :

#1 -what is with all the defensiveness about herb?

"god gave us all seed bearing plants and herbs to use" has nothing to do with the law, i would figure a person who spends as much time posting their political beliefs would know the whole seperation of church and state thing pretty much knocks that one right over..

A person's religious beliefs have EVERYTHING to do with the law" when said person, like millions upon MILLIONS, are spending years upon years (some cases LIFE sentences) in Government-Sponsored Slavery Centers also known as prisons, FOR POSSESSING A PLANT (not to mention the numbers on top of that for other "drugs").

Separation of church and state does nothing for protecting religious rights, it only (fails) to make sure church doctrine doesn't intertwine with government doctrine (and vice versa), which in this case it obviously does if you impose laws which supercede citizens' religious beliefs.  Don't you agree?

Any HONEST person would have to agree that it is beyond contradictory that people are continually imprisoned for religious beliefs... hmm where's that separation you speak of?  Oh that's right, the government and all its followers and supporters are
ALL hypocrites.

There is SUPPOSEDLY a law that states:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"
(First Amendment to the Constitution,
Bill of Rights).

But isn't that precisely what Cannabis prohibition is?  "A law Congress has made which prohibits the free exercise of my (or anyone else who can read and understand the Bible) religion"?
Like I said, this entire system is based on HYPOCRACY.
Someone (I guess it has to be me) needs to get angry (or as you call it, defensive) about the ongoing slavery and corruption in
America, since apparently everyone else just goes along IGNORANT to the FACTS, and BLIND to REALITY.

#2 - then again, the conservatives are fairly well known for bringing the bible into shit, but expecting logic from the federal government is like expecting...

The only people who believe that Bush and this administration are "conservative" are the people who don't actually read and know what's really going on.  Your television tells you "Bush is conservative and the media is liberal" and that's the extent of information the majority of people form their opinions on.  However people who READ (like me) focus on things like voting records and what legislation is passed in determining political stance (not just repeating what I heard on the idiot box) ... for instance:
Conservatives are pro-life... this administration is pro-abortion.
Conservatives are against gun control... this administration wants to take all our guns so we can be good controlled slaves.
Conservatives follow the Constitution... this administration has passed legislation that entirely rapes it (to say the least).

Also - people who "bring the Bible into shit" but don't actually heed what it says (ie: Bush and this administration) are called, once again, HYPOCRITES.  If you had taken the time to view THIS, you would know they are much more than just hypocrites; it's way more sinister than that.  I assume if you didn't watch it the first time you probably won't now either... bummer.

#3also, there is nothing magnificent about a plant that when smoked slows your re-actiong time, increases your appetite (only good if you lose your appetite from a disease), makes you paranoid, and don't realise how fucking retarded you talk and act.....

For starters, where did you get this brilliant information?  Nancy Reagan or wait one of those hilarious ad council commercials? HAHAHA next you will be telling me "dude marijuana is a gateway drug, soon you will be shooting heroin!  or you might run over a little girl getting fast-food because of your slow reaction time...  IT'S NOT AS SAFE AS WE THOUGHT!!

YOU DON'T HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT
PROPAGANDA?!?!

I thought I had already addressed this issue with the whole "hot pepper" analogy but I guess I can reiterate... just because you and your friends cannot handle STRONG MEAT does NOT mean me and my friends should be in jail just because we can.  BOTTOM LINE.  Like I say to my son when he tries to eat any of my food: "sorry little guy, big boys only"... like the Bible says: babes need milk, not strong meat.

MYTH-like generalizations like "slow reaction time" and "paranoia" and other RIDICULOUS WIVE'S TALES are straight out of propaganda films from the 1930s (guess you didn't take the time to watch that one either) which have found their way to modern day propaganda which you have obviously have seen and fell for.

Am I saying cannabis is right for everyone?  Are peanuts?  No food is, like I said before with the hot peppers, certain people just can't handle it... Arnold would call them "girlie mans"... not me though.

#4 - i know.....booze isn't any better, but at least most drunks admit the downfalls of drinking.....

Well that's because the FACTS of the downfalls of alcohol abuse are documented, so not admitting it would be called denial (many alcoholics or "drunks" are stuck here).  The "downfalls" of cannabis have never been documented and is based solely on myth and propaganda, so much so that to believe them is almost like having blind faith in a religious cult...

Since the U.S. continues cannabis prohibition no real studies have ever been done (only overseas and elsewhere), I wonder why that is?  Maybe because if REAL, UN-BIASED, INDEPENDENT tests were ever conducted here (oh wait you can't, it's outlawed) it would, once and for all, put to bed the lies you have been misled by.  Did someone say LaGuardia Commission?

#5 - 99 percent of potheads will not admit that the lame herb can give you cancer from all that lovely resin (aka TAR) build in your lungs.....

That's because 99 percent of "potheads" aren't liars, so why would they admit to something they know is false?  Scientists, potheads, and other intelligent people know that in reality, cannabis shrinks brain tumors and other cancers (that link is known as a reference. when you make a claim, it's usually wise to back it up with one, or else you look like an uninformed idiot talking out of your @$$ about something you obviously know nothing about... which is why I use many).

Oh and that sweet sweet cannabis resin (aka TAR, which is the byproduct of the distillation of any organic matter) is the second best source of protein known to man (2nd only to raw uncooked soybeans) and the amino acid profile is superior to soybean, human milk, and cow's milk.  It doesn't build in your lungs or cause cancer, it is absorbed into your bloodstream and used by the body.  Basically, it's better for you nutritionally than most of the food you consume daily I'm willing to bet.
What you didn't read on drugfree.org (or any other corporate-fascist site), is that tar in cigarettes is bad because it contains non-organic, non-natural materials.  599 to be exact.  Most cannot be absorbed so they sit in your lungs and cause tumors and cancers.  Everyone say it with me... see the difference?

#6 - their defense is that most potheads smoke ciggarettes, and when a pothead who doesn't smoke ciggarettes gets lung cancer, they blame the second hand smoke from their friends who do....get fucking real

Yeah like I said before, this sounds like a personal thing... I choose not to surround myself with people who are unintelligent, it's less stressful.  I suggest everyone do the same.

#7 - most potheads think that the shit doesn't kill brain cells......for proof that it does.... see bill clinton....or better yet....i personally know 3 people who were litterally (at least) twice as smart, and quick to react before getting into the gay herb.

Well I know for a fact that in reality, it doesn't kill brain cells, IT CAUSES BRAIN CELL GROWTH, but unlike most people who make massive claims, I have actual scientific proof to back up mine; not just a reference to a former president who has murdered more people than our current one except no one knows that little fact because they've been blinded by the television once again and know nothing aside from what they saw on CNN about cigars and "not inhaling"... aka DISTRACTIONS by the way did you know WTC Building 7 fell on September 11th but was untouched by a plane?  Go Sox!!

Oh sorry I got distracted, as I was saying, before I knew the truth I was moron, so why didn't I get twice as stupid?  No that's not true I've always been a genius, but I think the problem is you need new friends.  If you surround yourself with the types who never want to take responsibility for their actions, people who need to point the blame, pass the buck, find a nice inanimate scapegoat like video games, or music, or plants... instead of being a (wo)man and handling dey bizznazz... is that the type of people you want as yr ppl?  Do you think Manson and DOOM caused Columbine as well?

#8 - pot (just like hard drugs, alcohol, and all other natural mind-altering substances - like peyote, shrooms, wormwood etc.) has plenty of adverse affects.

Anything you consume will cause an effect.  Whether that effect is "adverse" or "intended" is in the eye of the beholder.  Example: you and your friends drink alcohol because you think getting drunk and acting like a prick is a good time... however to me that would be an adverse effect, while for you it is intended.

I consume cannabis because it allows me to think, study, read, pray, meditate, and just live more effectively... to you these things may be considered an adverse effect, but to me it is the intent.

And as for things like "alcohol" and such being natural... well I guess, if you consider the processes those things (drugs/alcohol) undergo before it is able to be consumed, "natural" (cannabis, like all plants, grow from the ground, you pick it and use it: eat, cook, etc)

Other drugs, like
crack, indeed have a plant base (for crack the coca leaf), but manmade chemicals are added to them ... is that a natural mind-altering substance (did you know it was engineered by the government to kill blacks)?  I dont think so.  Even plants not classified as drugs, ones considered "harmless", like potatoes, can be fatal when used improperly.  However there has never, in the history of the entire world, never been one documented case of death from cannabis.

#9 - and as far as the effect while driving......the reason there is no record of any "stoned-driving-accidents" but plenty for drunk drivers, is because a breathilizer can tell how drunk you are in a snap........cops don't have any tools to prove that a driver is stoned......

And why do you think that is?  My guess is because people who are 'stoned' aren't actually that effected after all (mentally or physiologically, unlike alcohol which is why you can test for it)... meaning their cognitive and motor skills are pristine (or as good as they were to begin), which is why its not possible to test or tell if someone is "stoned"... ironic.  However opinions (even mine) are worthless, so read these facts.  (Better hope this weed will outweigh those drinks)

#10 - people with slower re-action time, whose eyes are slanted from the disgusting smelling plant they just smoked are just as dangerous as a swerving asshole drunk driver

Just as dangerous?  See above link.  Disgusting smelling?  Again, this sounds like a personal problem.  I think cannabis has the greatest smell on earth, in contrast, some people like the smell of their own farts I'd much rather smell roasting herbs (even a nice wood burning) but hey different strokes.  The point is I wouldn't imprison anyone for liking or disliking a smell, however I would question liking the smell of your own fart over cannabis.

And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
[Exodus 29:25]

...an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
[Philippians 4:18]

#11 - to enjoy weed is one thing

to celebrate it, worship it, or to refer to it as "THIS BEAUTIFUL, MAGNIFICENT, MANNA FROM GOD - " is nothing short of fucking retarded

This is so brilliantly stated I didnt know whether or not to include it, but Ill start with manna

And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
[Exodus 16:31]

And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.  And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
[Numbers 11: 7-8]

Manna is spiritual and physical nourishment of divine origin.  It is a special gift from God.  When I first read those passages and saw the plant coriander mentioned, I assumed the Bible was stating that the coriander was the holy plant.  But after I read the passages again more carefully, I noticed both times it says like or as coriander, meaning this "manna" was similar to coriander, but not exactly the same.

After doing more botany homework, I learned that coriander is in the same plant family as cannabis (Sativa/Sativum, which comes from the Latin Sativus which means, propagated by seed [again back to Genesis 1:29]).

The way this plant is described, its versatility, taste, and even the properties mentioned, bdellium, are all consistent with attributes of the cannabis plant. While being a nutritious food [ground in mills], it was medicinal [beat in mortar], and could also be baked into cakes [hashish].

Therefore yes, I suppose it is retarded to refer to this plant as manna, because even a retard is intelligent enough to see that this coriander-like plant mentioned in the Bible is indeed Cannabis.  I guess anyone who does not see that is sub-retarded?

To celebrate something is to enjoy it however to worship is something completely different.  I worship one God only (unlike MANY people).  The God who created the beautiful, magnificent manna which grows from this earth (which He also created), and I will continue to celebrate and enjoy and praise Him for ALL His creations until I am no longer celebrating and enjoying oxygen.

#12 - just my opinion though

I hope you take these facts into consideration when formulating a new, informed, fact-based opinion.  Anyone reading who claims they believe in the concept of an omnipotent being creating all things (aka God) would have to concede to the fact that God made all plants, animals, etc. therefore using his creations would only be pleasing to him.  If you disagree, then you are (like the neo-conservatives) a hypocrite.  Comments/Questions?
